New Post Station

13 Jun 2013 | Posted by Andrew Onions

As Maclellan Rubbers newest apprentice, I wanted to put my stamp on the office and show my new colleagues what I am able to offer in addition to my commitment to my exciting new Job. One of the first responsibilities I have been given was to ensure the post went out every day and in doing so realized that there was not a formal system in place. So I set about installing a "Post-Station" MacLellan Rubber now have a set of scales so we can weigh the packages to ensure we are using the correct amount of stamps. I put some envelopes, labels and terms and conditions in a draw at the post station for easy access. There are now also post in and post out trays at the post station so the mail is being sorted and sent out efficiently. I have also printed off a full colour postage rates wall chart to help speed up the process for everyone As part of my work at MacLellan Rubber I am also studying my NVQ Level 2 in business administration and will be blogging regularly from now on to keep updated on my progress.
